Guest Feature: Three Generations of Women - Beccy Smith

The idea for Broken Leg Theatre's Three Generations of Women grew out of a conversation in the pub between co-directors and writers of the play, Alice Trueman and Anna Jefferson. Over several pints they discussed the shifting challenges women have faced over the course of the last 100 years - how such progress has been achieved, but carrying with it a shadow of regression when it comes to the representation of women in the media, for instance.
