We're celebrating 5 years of gender equality activism with free creative writing workshops this Saturday 14th May at South Street Arts Centre in Reading. Would you like to learn how to structure a short play? Or how to write a review of a show that could be published in Female Arts magazine? Then sign up for one of our FREE workshops.

Short-Playwrighting for Women workshop
Interested in creative writing? Unsure if your voice ‘fits’ in theatre? We will explore the short play format with writing exercises and discuss diversity in the performing arts, in a free workshop from Female Arts. For women and self-identifying women only.

Tutors: Wendy Thomson, Editor-In-Chief Female Arts magazine. Freelance creative writing and English tutor. MA in Writing for the Stage and Broadcast Media from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama
Kate Saffin: Boater, writer, storyteller and actor, Kate Saffin, has lived on a narrowboat and told stories of the waterways as solo plays since 1999. She trained as a writer for stage and broadcast media at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (MFA).

Would you like to be a critic or journalist? How should you structure a review? What is a 'feminist' review? Learn about reviewing the performing arts and gender inequality in a free workshop from Female Arts. Open to all genders.
