The Camden Fringe is now on!

The sixth Camden Fringe takes place from the 1st to the 28th August 2011.

This year events will be taking place throughout the whole borough – from Highgate to Bloomsbury in London. There are all sorts of performances including theatre, comedy, opera, dance and stand-up and ticket prices start at just £5.

The Camden Fringe was set-up by Zena Barrie and Michelle Flower. The first Camden Fringe took place in August 2006 at the Etcetera Theatre and included 57 performances by 22 acts over a 4 week period. It has grown steadily since then. The 2010 Camden Fringe was made of 652 performances in 8 venues including the Roundhouse studio and ticket sales were up 30% on the previous year.

The Camden Fringe aims to give anyone the chance to perform and showcase their talents, from very experienced performers and companies to ambitious newcomers.
