The Female Arts team are experts in our chosen fields with many of our writers holding postgraduate degrees. Our review team aims for intersectionality and comprises of men and women from all spectrums of society: we all support women in the arts and gender equality.

Rachel Creeger Writer (scripts & songs) / Director / Singer
Rachel Creeger is from the Orthodox Jewish Community, to her knowledge the only writer from her background creating mainstream theatre in London. Her production company Time2Shine helps community groups to devise original work. Personal credits include "An Insomniac's Guide To Ambulances" (Upstairs At The Gatehouse, Phoenix Theatre at the LJCC), “Staffroom” (Tristan Bates Theatre), “ESTHER! The Musical” (Artsdepot), plus many commissioned plays for children. She regularly directs new writing for MSFT, production manages DYSPLA festival and was part of the team behind the highly acclaimed Othello at the Bussey Building. She hosts comedy nights and writes for and performs with vocal harmony group Kol Sheva. Rachel is currently on an arts secondment at the LJCC, focussing on projects including the Hampstead & Highgate Literary Festival, Poetry in the Park and the FUSION children’s programme. Sarah Dosomah I'm a graduate of the visual arts, trained arts therapist and writer. I work therapeutically with children and homeless people in the city of Cardiff where I live with my partner and two children. I'm interested in both the visual and performing arts, particularly in relation to inequality, protest and social change. I’m interested in the dissonant voice and the rejection of the aggressive capitalism that dominates our world.

I am a professional actor, presenter and performance artist working in London and the Three Counties area. My practice-based research is mainly focused on the female body in performance and autobiography. Katie Jackson Katie is a writer and theatre-maker based in rural Herefordshire. Having studied English and drama at Queen Mary University in London, she attempts to juggle her passion for literature as well as theatre, alongside her love for the countryside and the city.
Kate Massey-Chase Creative facilitator in the arts and education, writer, performer, teacher. RCSSD. I'm a freelance facilitator in a number of different sectors, either using the arts as a tool for social change and personal development, or working in schools to deliver Personal, Social, Health Education projects. I currently work with a diverse range of groups, including young refugees, recovering addicts, and mental health service users. I also edit a magazine on wellbeing called Equilibrium, produced by mental health service users in Haringey. I’m an alumuna from the University of Winchester and the Central School of Speech and Drama, where I studied for a Masters in Applied Theatre (Drama in the community and Drama education). Madelaine Moore I am a theatre practitioner specialising in work with marginalised young people, those involved in the criminal justice system and vulnerable adults. An alumna of Central School of Speech and Drama’s MA Applied Theatre course, I have worked with companies including Old Vic New Voices, Tricycle Theatre, Cardboard Citizens, Roundhouse, Only Connect, HMPYOI Feltham and HMP The Mount. Prior to this I completed my acting training at Arts Educational. Dale Neuringer Dale Neuringer is an American born writer for stage and screen whose sensibilities have skewed undoubtedly towards British. She has been living in the UK for five years and as such, has developed a taste for British drama, all the while writing, producing and directing her way across this small island. She has put on and had work put on in London and Edinburgh, and hopes to expand that scope even further over the coming year. She enjoys medium length walks on the beach, long walks in the trees, power tools, and pomegranates.

Effie Samara Edinburgh Editor Edinburgh Editor for Female Arts. Effie Samara read Law and Creative writing at Cambridge. She is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Glasgow. Gina Smith Gina is a natural born creative and enjoys working this way. Gina is fairly new to writing, reviews and interviews. Gina's first reviews and interviews were for community urban magazine Boom. Gina has worked for Listening Books and RASP, performed with the African dancer Peter Badejo, fantastic collaborations with Joanna Marcella, Bob Johns - Photojournalist, Rosie Kaye Dance Company and Community Vibes CIC.
Gina started showing work on creative social media/networks since 2013. Gina has a degree in Fashion & Textiles. Gina's work is created from urban surroundings and nature. Hence the business name Electric Nature Designs. Wendy is the founder and editor-in-chief of Female Arts magazine and was nominated for the George Orwell Prize in Journalism for her writing for Female Arts. Female Arts are producing the inaugural RED Women's Theatre Awards; an annual award for female playwrights. Masters graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and founding member of the Reading Berks comedy sketch group her writing has been staged at venues including the Royal Festival Hall (Women of the World festival) Henley Fringe Festival and Reading Comedy Festival.
