Rachel Creeger is a prolific director of new writing, specialising in comedy. As Time2Shine Productions she engages with schools, charities and community groups, delivering workshops and helping participants to devise original material. Personal credits include "An Insomniac's Guide To Ambulances", “Staffroom” , “ESTHER! The Musical”, plus many commissioned plays for children. She regularly directs new writing for workshops such as Sunday Surgery and From Page To Stage, production manages DYSPLA festival and was part of the team behind the highly acclaimed Othello at the Bussey Building. She hosts comedy nights including Upstairs at the Adam & Eve, a monthly gig for established comedians delivering new material mixed with tried and tested bits - which books both male and female acts on a strictly 50/50 basis. Rachel wrote for and performed with vocal harmony group Kol Sheva and spent 18 months on an arts secondment at the LJCC, focussing on projects including the Hampstead & Highgate Literary Festival, Poetry in the Park and the FUSION children’s programme. Rachel is from the Orthodox Jewish community, to her knowledge the only writer/director from her background creating mainstream theatre in London.
