O'Shea & O'Gaukroger present WE'RE DEAD SERIOUS - Camden Fringe Festival

O'Shea & O'Gaukroger (O&O) have alter egos. Several. There's the Bearded Ladies with a penchant for jokes, an over zealous pair of recruiters, and a man who fails to understand the necessity of trousers in public places. Expect a night of bizarre comedy characters and plenty of (gentle) audience interaction. Compared to The Two Ronnies and Morecambe & Wise, but with boobs.

About the Duo:
3 years ago the fates aligned and Marina stumbled across Tess playing a far too convincing man in a play. Marina asked Tess if she wanted to write some comedy with her. Tess said no. Marina followed her home anyway. The rest, as they say, is history.

With two successful UK tours under their belts, 2015 sees them tearing back around the country's theatres, comedy clubs and music festivals to bring their own unique style of comedy to the masses.

More about the duo: As well as live dates, O&O's latest comedy short film 'Crack'- one of a six part original series they have made in collaboration with the award winning Cineon Productions - has been chosen as an official selection of the London Short Film Festival 2015. This is the second film from the girls to be screened at the BAFTA-recognised festival; their first film, ‘Two Birds, One Pint’, was selected by the panel in 2013.

In Autumn last year O&O were asked to appear in a new documentary alongside Jenny Eclair, Katie Hopkins and others, called "50 Shades: Uncovered." The DVD has just been released worldwide, and it will be aired on TV in the UK this year. “50 Shades: Uncovered” is a brand new feature documentary from Odeon Entertainment filmed in London and New York which explores the twilight zone of submissive romance and the power of the books, film and fans.

Earlier this year O&O were also invited to perform as part of BBC Radio Bristol's 'Speechbubble' project, a new series promoting new comedy talent in the South West area.
