So and So Arts club present 'Ever HopeFull' Rep Season

The sequel to last year's acclaimed HopeFull Rep Season, Ever HopeFull is an exciting collection of theatrical premieres in a pop-up venue in the heart of the city. This four play repertory season of new writing features artists aged 18-80. And with an additional showcase performance of a new musical, a short film screening and two one man shows, there really is something for everyone. The overarching theme of the season is the stories of people over forty. “Youth is the gift of nature, but age is a work of art.”

Presenting four new plays, a musical showcase and three independent shows:

'American Venus' by Leslie Mildiner

'This Thing Called Love' by Shelley Silas

'The House' by Brian Parks

'Mercy' by Claire Whitehead

'Jog On' by Stephanie Smith and Monica Sik Holm

'Twain at 70' with David Patrick Stucky

'Vinatge Humans' by The Equilibrium

All four plays have been part of the rehearsed reading programme of the So and So Arts club. The actors, directors, writers and producers are all members of the club and have worked together collaboratively to make this exciting new project possible. Each play takes a very different look at what it is to age. Through drama, comedy and music we examine the lives of people in middle and old age.
