Ram Trucks has unveiled its newest addition to the lineup, the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO, which is set to become the sportiest offering from the brand. The RHO will be replacing the TRX in the lineup but is not a direct replacement, offering a lower price point and slightly less power.
Under the hood, the Ram 1500 RHO boasts a high-output version of Stellantis’s Hurricane engine, delivering an impressive 540 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque. This power allows the truck to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.6 seconds, with a top speed of 118 mph.
To enhance performance, the RHO comes equipped with Bilstein’s Black Hawk e2 adaptive performance shocks, forged aluminum control arms, and various other upgrades. Additionally, the truck is eight inches wider than the standard 1500 model, featuring a unique hood, grille, and LED headlights.
Inside the cabin, drivers can enjoy twelve-way power leather front seats with heating, ventilation, and massaging functions. The RHO also offers up to three interior screens, including a 14.5-inch infotainment system with the fifth-generation Uconnect system.
Despite its sporty nature, the Ram 1500 RHO doesn’t sacrifice on practicality, with a towing capacity of up to 8,380 pounds, a payload capacity of 1,520 pounds, and the ability to ford up to 32 inches of water.
Interested buyers can expect the Ram 1500 RHO to hit the market with a starting price of $71,990, including a $1,995 destination charge. The truck is set to be available in the third quarter of 2024, offering an exciting new option for those in the market for a high-performance, top-of-the-line sport truck.
