The U.S. stock market continues to surge as Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose by 0.3% on Friday. Both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 futures also climbed by 0.4%, indicating another potential winning session for Wall Street.
The Dow is currently experiencing a seven-day winning streak, which is the longest since December. Additionally, the S&P 500 closed above 5,200 for the first time since April, further bolstering investor confidence.
Investor sentiment has been boosted by the Federal Reserve’s indication of no interest rate hike in the near future, as well as a strong earnings season. Chief investment officer Chris Hyzy expressed optimism about the market, stating that they believe it is in the early stages of a long-term bull market.
As of Thursday’s close, the Dow has gained 1.8%, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite were up by 1.7% and 1.2% respectively. These positive trends have left many on Wall Street optimistic about the future of the stock market.
