Samsung has announced a new software update for its Galaxy S24 series, including the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. The update, which includes the May 2024 security patch, is currently being rolled out in the USA, with T-Mobile being the first carrier to release it.
Some users had reported experiencing decreased battery life after the previous update, but it seems that this new update does not bring any additional improvements other than the latest security fixes. Samsung may have delayed the release of the update due to their focus on One UI 6.1.
More Galaxy devices are expected to receive the May security update in the coming days. Users can manually check for the update by going to Settings » Software update on their phones.
This update comes as Samsung continues to prioritize the security and performance of its devices. Stay tuned for more updates on Samsung’s software releases.
